After completing several training courses in 2018, including the OSS Retail Academy, I identified that there was a noticable lack of development and training opportunities within the business that I worked for. Based on this I actively researched development and coaching academies and built the Emerging Leaders Academy. After taking the concept to the Director team, they asked me to work collaboratively with the L&D manager on the content and structure. After approximately 6 months of development, we launched the Academy in 2019.


The Emerging Leaders Academy is a year long course that aims to deliver behavioural and culture based coaching focused on personal and career development, to support DCK’s DNA and business strategy. Emerging Leaders are those who are recognised to champion the DNA values and competencies and who aspire to be future managers.
